RCBB Gruppe has completed the structural work for a sustainable and socially integrated housing project developed by Schick Bau on a former Lidl site in Munich. The City of Munich commissioned the project and is part of its sustainable urban development strategy.
The residential complex consists of five buildings, each with separate access, and offers a variety of housing types, including apartments for a Sorgende Hausgemeinschaft (informally supported residential community) and ambulant betreutes Wohnen (outpatient assisted living). In total, there will be eight apartments for each category, contributing to a collaborative and supportive living model.
The buildings are arranged around a semi-private communal space, shielded from traffic and nearby commercial activity. A planned supermarket will be located in the southern area of the site, ensuring a clear separation between residential and commercial spaces.
The project was designed by the architectural firm Bogevischs Büro Architekten und Stadtplaner, in collaboration with Kagerer Landschaftsarchitekten.
The total value of the city-commissioned project, which includes all phases from demolition and site preparation to final finishing, is approximately 55 million euros.
We are proud to contribute to the sustainable urban development of Bavaria’s capital. This project reflects RCBB’s commitment to execution quality and to building with a focus on community and sustainability.
