April 28: About people, awareness, safety, and responsibility

✍️ “The right of every person to work in a safe and healthy environment.” This is not just a phrase. It is a principle that should form the foundation of every working day. On April 28, we mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work—a day that invites us, first and foremost, to pause for a moment and think about people. About those who work every day, about the responsibility we have toward one another, and, not least, about those who never made it back home.

🔴 Safety starts with awareness

Too often, routine makes us believe that “it can’t happen to us” or “it’ll be fine this way.” But the reality is that every workplace comes with risks and hazards.

Awareness does not mean fear. It means respect—for the job and for life. It means being attentive, understanding what we do, and not ignoring the details that can make the difference.

🟡 Prevention means more than rules

Prevention is not just about procedures and equipment. It is about caring for ourselves first—and for our colleagues.

It means:

Because most of the time, accidents don’t just happen—they can be prevented.

🔵 Everyone’s involvement matters

A safe work environment isn’t built only through rules imposed from the top. It is built together.

Each of us has a role:

Safety is not one person’s responsibility. It is everyone’s responsibility.

🟢 A safe work environment means respect

A safe workplace does not simply mean the absence of accidents. It means getting home safe and healthy to our families. It means respect.

Respect for people.
Respect for work.
Respect for life.

At RCBB, we believe that real performance cannot exist without safety. Because no project, no matter how important, is more important than the people who build it.

April 28 is not just another day on the calendar. It is a reminder:
To be more aware.
To be more responsible.
To take care of one another.
