Tauber Bau Hochbau GmbH is a recognized leader in the construction industry in Franconia. Since its founding 208 years ago, the company has been committed to civil engineering and has implemented remarkable projects that contribute to the urban development of the region.
A successful collaboration
Three major projects: The strengths of the RCBB Group were clearly evident in the three major projects in partnership with Tauber Bau.
The first of these is the ARGE Henschelstraße 2. BA in Munich, which ran from 2021-2022. Together with Tauber Bau, the RCBB Group built part of the quarter on Henschelstraße in the west of the Bavarian capital. This successfully completed residential construction project has demonstrated the efficiency and quality of the work carried out by the RCBB Group team.
We are close to completing the Thon Plaza in Nuremberg, which opened last year. The project envisages the construction of a modern complex with two buildings and an underground car park on an area of around 6,000 m2. Thon Plaza will have a spectacular modern design. The buildings constructed by RCBB have a 5.8-meter-high ground floor, where we have manufactured monolithic reinforced concrete arches with a special vault formwork that we assemble on site. These elements are demanding and difficult to realize.
In the Nuremberg project, we also used a new armoring technology called BAMTEC. It uses reinforcing bars that are pre-stressed in the form of iron coils and spread out on the target area. This technology allows implementation times to be reduced by up to 50% and the number of employees needed to do the work. Thon Plaza underlines the RCBB Group’s competence in complex projects that also include unique architectural elements.
The third construction site started this year is the Jaminpark residential complex in Erlangen, which will consist of 2 apartment buildings with 3 floors and a common basement. The buildings consist of prefabricated wooden walls and prefabricated concrete slabs. The use of prefabricated materials shortens execution times.
